Lights, Chili, Action!!! Winter magic in Gatlinburg begins this week on November 9th. There is a chili cook off to start the festivities. The Trolley Ride of Lights begins on November 9th and runs through February.
Looking for a reason to use up a few days of vacation? How about a trip to Gatlinburg to enjoy some chili, ride the trolley, and celebrate Veterans day on 11/11/11 at Ripley’s Aquarium Plaza in downtown Gatlinburg?
We’ve been to Gatlinburg for the Winter Magic and ridden the Trolley to view the lights. Each trolley is assigned a storyteller who narrates the ride and gives a bit of local history. It’s a fun and interesting activity for the whole family.
